![]() BluTV becomes Max on April 15
Warner Bros. Discovery's streaming platform Max will make its debut on April 15, replacing BluTV, the company announced this morning.
Max members will continue to watch their favorite BluTV series and programs, while also having access to the latest and global content from HBO and Max Originals, new seasons of BluTV's most beloved local productions, new local original productions, blockbuster movies from Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Studios, children's content from Cartoon Network and Cartoonito, world-class sports events from Eurosport, live news from CNN International, a selection of discovery programs and true crime documentary series, providing a complete viewing experience for the entire household. The eagerly awaited second season of BluTV's original production Magarsus will begin streaming on March 6 with its first episode. The last two episodes of the series, which will be shown weekly, will be added on April 17 and 24, and will be available on the platform along with all previously aired episodes after the Max launch. Since the popular series will be streamed on Max after BluTV, the Magarsus family portrait, drawn by illustrator Ethem Onur Bilgiç, was moved by staff after the Magarsus new season preview held in Istanbul today. The other Turkish productions include Prince, the Behzat Ç. sequel as well as global hit series such as The Last of Us, The White Lotus, House of the Dragon and The Penguin. The platform will also feature blockbuster Warner Bros. films, Barbie, Wonka, Dune, Dune: Part Two and the Harry Potter series. The content library will also feature cult series such as Friends and The Big Bang Theory, as well as all seasons of And Just Like That..., which will be broadcast for the first time in Turkey. With the launch, Max also plans to increase its original content investment to bring more local stories to the platform than before. New and interesting original content, which will be announced closer to the launch, will be added to the platform in the coming months. At the same time, new seasons of popular series such as TLC's 90 Days of Marriage and DMAX's Tamirat Tadilat will also be on the platform. Sports fans will be able to enjoy the Rolland-Garros and Tour de France, among others. Local and international television channels, including CNN International, TLC, DMAX, Cartoon Network and Eurosport 1 and Eurosport 2, will continue to be available through Max. “Max, Warner Bros.
