CEE Screenings, CEETV's initiative promoting the best fiction productions coming out of Central and Eastern Europe since 2018, will be held online for the eighth time in a row this spring. Also, for the first time ever, a CEE Screenings session will be hosted in-person for the delegates of the MEDIA PLAY Festival in Sofia on April 24, 2025.

Keeping the tradition, CEE Screenings 2025 will present high-quality scripted productions, including some of the big hits of the current TV season and exclusive premieres of new projects from the CEE region focusing on strong original ideas created by local talent.

The call for submissions of newly developed scripted titles from the region is now open.

The goal of the initiative is to help CEE players to attract international interest for their newest content, while international distributors can present their content to local broadcasters and streamers.

The CEE Screenings 2025 session at the MEDIA PLAY Festival will also reveal more details about each of the presented titles and how their success is changing both their respective domestic markets and the scripted production trends on a pan-regional level.
