![]() Viasat True Crime to launch on United Group's platforms
Viasat World, leading independent international media company, today announces that Viasat True Crime will launch on all platforms of United Group, the leading telecommunication and media group in Southeastern Europe. The channel will be available in Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece.
Following the channel’s successful debut in Poland in 2024 where 6.4 million people (age 4+)* have tuned in since launch, Viasat True Crime went on to rapidly expand with further launches in Croatia, Czechia, Slovakia, and Slovenia. The fully localised crime-themed television channel will now be available on United Group EON TV platforms across six countries. Furthermore, Viasat World has secured the SVOD rights for much of the new channel’s content. Viasat True Crime and SVOD will be part of Telemach Slovenia, Telemach Croatia, Telemach Bosnia, Telemach Montenegro, Vivacom Bulgaria and Nova Greece offer from April 2025. Viasat True Crime delves deep into the world’s most shocking crimes, offering an extensive lineup of gripping content - from in-depth documentaries on real-life cases to chilling true crime dramas and compelling crime-fighting reality shows. With expertly curated programming, the channel brings together multiple genres to provide a truly immersive viewing experience. Featuring insights from experts, prosecutors, investigators, witnesses, and even criminals, Viasat True Crime follows each case from start to finish. The channel also showcases high-intensity crime-in-action series, spotlighting the work of law enforcement professionals such as police officers and prison guards. Additionally, Viasat True Crime presents premium true crime dramas, including award-winning films and series with internationally acclaimed casts, bringing to life some of the most notorious and unsettling crimes of our time. True crime series include Deadly Women and Twisted Twins (ITV Studios). TV schedules will also feature reality crime-fighting shows, such as Prison Down Under (Fred Media) and Border Force USA: The Bridges (BossaNova Media); alongside critically acclaimed drama productions based on true events including Per Elisa - Il Caso Claps (ITV Global) and The Sixth Commandment (Banijay Rights).
