CEEKeshet's Master Class sold to Alpha Cyprus
Keshet International has completed a seventh licensing deal for Master Class, Keshet’s internationally successful children's music talent show, to Alpha Cyprus for a new primetime local adaptation entitled Music School.
Originally created by Yoav Tzafir, Tamira Yardeni and Zvika Hadar for Keshet 12, Master Class is a feel-good musical talent show where children perform beloved classics in a supportive, uplifting environment. Mentored by leading artists, the country's most promising young singers develop their talent and confidence through weekly performances in a music school setting. This highly successful format has been produced locally in six territories prior to this license with Alpha Cyprus, including in Hungary (3 seasons for TV2), Uruguay (3 seasons for Teledoce), China (3 seasons for BTV), Greece (Mega), Slovenia (Planet TV), and Georgia (Rustavi). In Hungary, Master Class regularly ranked as the most-watched show of the week, peaking with a 30% average share (+88% on the channel average). While in China, the highly acclaimed series was ranked as one of the most watched shows in the country as well as being one of the most engaged TV shows on social media platform Weibo. RELATED
