CEEARTE Distribution expands CEE footprint ahead of MIPCOM
ARTE Distribution has expanded its footprint across Central and Eastern Europe, closing a series of deals with broadcasters in the region ahead of MIPCOM.
Canal+ Poland has signed a package deal covering more than 60 hours of documentaries, including Cluck! Chicken Exposed (52’) and Career of a Post-War Nazi (52’). In Slovakia, JOJ Group has acquired a large package for its channel JOJ Svet, including discovery series such as Artisans of the World (6x26’), Coffee Odyssey: The New Sustainable Routes (5x26’) and Markets of the World (10x26’). Serbian pubcaster RTS has licensed a selection of music and film icon documentaries, among them Made in Rough Trade (52’) and Massive Attack: Music as a Weapon of Peace (52’). Long-standing partner Česká televize, the Czech pubcaster, has picked up a wide selection of portraits, including Frances McDormand - Anti-Hero (52’), Jessica Chastain’s Greatest Game (52’) and Julianne Moore: Split (52’). ‘‘We thank our partners for their continued trust.
