Leading Russian premium pay TV and SVOD platform Amedia TV and Home Box Office (HBO) have signed a new multi-year deal providing Amedia TV with the right to broadcast first-run HBO shows and HBO’s entire programming library, exclusively in Russia.

The deal makes AMEDIA Premium HD, consisting of Amedia Premium and Amedia Hit channels and SVOD service Amediateka, the HOME OF HBO beginning in July 2017. All new HBO TV series, films, documentaries, concerts and special events will also premiere in Russia on Amedia TV simultaneously with HBO
releases in the US.
