Viasat World announced a deal with independent television, film and digital production and distribution company All3Media International to acquire over 50 hours of world-class drama content for its brand-new flagship content brand, Epic Drama.

Drama fans will have access to the very greatest collection of acclaimed and compelling series across a variety of genres, including crime and mystery, classic literary, politics and power, historical, war, action adventure, real history and fantasy. The new channel and SVOD propositions, which launch on 14 December in Viasat World’s key markets and territories internationally, will now play host to some of the hottest programming properties in the All3Media stable.

As a renowned producer and distributor of high-end, independent drama, all3media is a key partner to Viasat World in fueling the content pipeline for Epic Drama with the very best drama series. This first scripted content deal affirms Viasat World’s commitment to working side by side with the very best content distribution partners, and builds on the long-standing relationship between the two companies on the factual programming side, particularly in the non-scripted history genre.
