Cineflix Rights makes sales ahead of NATPE Budapest

Cineflix Rights has closed multiple deals with Eastern European broadcasters ahead of NATPE Budapest 2019.

Bulgaria’s VIVACOM Arena channel – owned by Bulgarian Telecommunications Company EAD – has bought 60 hours of content, including three of Cineflix Rights’ anniversary themed documentaries from Finestripe Productions; The Day We Walked on the Moon (1x60’, ITV UK), The Day Hitler Died (1x60’, ITV UK), and The Day Kennedy Died (1x60’, ITV UK); as well as Harry and Meghan: Inside The Royal Wedding (1x60’, ITN Productions for NBC US), Impossible Planet (12x60’, Blizzard Road Productions), The Wall (6x60’, Rondo Media/JTV for S4C Wales and TG4 Ireland), Strip the Cosmos (Season 1, 6x60’, Windfall Films for Science Channel US and Discovery Europe), and Muhammad Ali: A Life (1x60’, Mukahari Media for Boxnation US and Epix US).

NC+ Poland has acquired Impossible Planet (12x60’, Blizzard Road Productions) for its Planete+ channel, alongside Impossible Builds (8x60’, Windfall Films for Channel 4 UK), and Property Brothers: Double Down (Seasons 1&2, 8x60’, Cineflix Productions for HGTV US) for its Domo+ channel.

Polish free-TV channel Stopklatka has acquired a range of programs including Season 19 of long running ratings hit Mayday (10x60’, Cineflix Productions for Discovery Canada, Smithsonian Channel US, and National Geographic Channels International), and Rogue Earth (Season 2, 2x60’, Pixcom for Discovery Canada).

Lucy Rawson, VP, Sales, Africa, CEE, Middle East, and Southern Mediterranean, Cineflix Rights, who concluded the sales and is attending NATPE Budapest said: “I’m delighted to be closing these latest deals with new broadcaster partners as well as existing clients.
