For the fifth year in a row, both the beginners and experienced players of TV and formats business will compete for the title of the best, innovative and original format creator at Small World. Big Ideas. The final round will be held in the course of the international media forum Kyiv Media Week 2019.

The goal of the project, according to its organizers – Media Resources Management (Ukraine), and also the partners – international distributor Small World IFT (USA) and the largest international audiovisual content market MIPCOM (France), is to gather the most talented creators of innovative entertainment content under one roof and provide the best of them with the lucky ticket that will kickstart their idea to go global. The submitted projects can be at any development stage: starting from an idea (paper format) to a product that has already been broadcast. The variety of genres is also unlimited: game, quiz, dating, travel, survival, reality, talent shows are welcomed.

Call for entries is open from July 8 to August 16, 2019. The projects will be evaluated by the independent jury, featuring Ukrainian and international content industry execs with substantial experience in formats development, distribution and adaptation. The main criteria for each project evaluation are: originality, creativity, potential to create multiple series, potential to travel worldwide as a format, possibility to implement interactive technologies and become transmedia project.

The top-five finalists will be announced on August 27, 2019. The final round and the selection of the Small World. Big Ideas winner will take place on September 17 during KMW 2019.
