Calinos Entertainment will officially represent the Fox Networks Group catalog of Turkish content, previously distributed by Fox Networks Group Content Distribution (FNGCD).

The deal covers titles which aired across the Fox Networks Group channels in Turkey, including 31 Turkish series such as the internationally acclaimed show No.309, Second Chance, In Love Again, Lodestar and Cherry Season, as well as box office Turkish movies and documentaries produced for National Geographic Turkey.

Calinos Entertainment, one of the pioneers in distributing Turkish dramas worldwide, has started the sales negotiations.

As the demand for Turkish drama continues, we believe our agreement with Calinos will further strengthen our ability to reach more markets around the world,” said Yadigar Belbüken, FOX Networks Group Turkey, VP, Thematic Channels and Content Distribution.

Deputy General Manager, Calinos Entertainment Ismail Dursunov: “It’s a very significant development for the sector, that over 3000 hours of programming including game shows, dramas, movies and National Geographic Turkey documentaries, all produced under the FOX brand, have become available for worldwide by our distribution. Since 1997, we have distributed over 60.000 hours Turkish content more than 150 countries around the world. We are pleased to include products under FOX brand to our journey.”

Following successful meetings at MIPCOM last month, Calinos Entertainment, one of the pioneers in distributing Turkish dramas worldwide, has managed to license some of these titles i.e. Cherry Season, No:309, In Spite Of Love to Mediaset from Spain, No:309, Recipe for Love to Afghanistan, That Is My Life to Angola and Mozambique, Let’s Break Up, Prisoners’ Wives, Silent Room to Bangladesh and Second Chance to French speaking countries in Africa, in a very short time.
