International distributor MKMG, based in Ukraine, has closed deals for documentary series Fantastic Ukrainians (6 x 48-87 min, year 2020-2021). These are series of documentary films about contemporary Ukrainian music, cinema, literature and visual art. Also, about talented Ukrainians who lay the foundation in the minds of young people and shape the image of national culture. The more attention is paid to it, the richer the nation is.

Over the past few years, significant cultural changes have taken place in Ukraine. Viewers can see important achievements, influential personalities and future vectors of development of cultural industries in the series of films Fantastic Ukrainians.

"Since February 24, all the attention of the world has been drawn on Ukrainians, their strength and firmness. We sincerely wish the whole world get to know us better and learn how our culture was formed. After all, it is extraordinary. Thanks to our culture that we have this power," commented Anna Verbovska, Head of the Sales and Acquisitions at MKMG.

Czech Television will start airing the series from September, making it available in Ukrainian and Czech on the own AVOD platform www.ceskatelevize.cz/ivysilani.

From August 8th the charity screening of the series will start on the online platform Filmmakers-for-Ukraine (https://filmmakers-for-ukraine.com/charityscreening), created by the film network Crew United with support of Pantaflix Technologies. The platform provides people in Ukraine seeking help and people who wish to offer support with necessary information. Specializing on information from the film industry, Filmmakers-for-Ukraine contains offers of assistance, fundraising campaigns, petitions and appeals from the film industry. There is also an information page curated by film journalists containing sources of important documentary and feature films about Ukraine. The revenue generated by the film rental will be donated to the NGO Filmmakers for Refugees and then forwarded directly to people in need in the Ukraine.

Every week, the Filmmakers-for-Ukraine platform adds new films, usually available worldwide.
